About

hq-v2.2.lg.png

HQ, whether online only now or (at some future point) in a physical location, is a place for kids 5 to 18 years old to be creative, meet others and share in different forms of storytelling.

Loosely speaking, HQ uses superhero or supervillain motifs to explore themes big and small, local and global, for fun or for social justice through writing, the arts and physical expression.

Our TWEENS

For the older HQ Students there will be opportunities for mentoring and internships as well as creating their own independent HQ projects in their communities and interests.

Our KIDS

HQ courses are structured around the final project. Every “super student” at the end of each HQ course will complete a final project that they can call their own. This could be in the form of a costume, a short movie, a story, a comic book, a video game, a play, etc.

Small class size (max. of 6 kids) makes for better interaction.

I think you are such a good teacher [Josh] and this class [Stop-Motion] was so fun.
